THE VR PROJECT
PREPARING VIETNAMESE STUDENTS TO TAKE ON
THE WORLD

With the advent of low cost, high resolution mobile phones, that have powerful processors within, and cheap 360 VR cameras, Virtual Reality (VR) is now a technology which is poised to sweep the world, in the next 5 years.

VR is no longer just about immersive games, etc. With a 360 camera, which costs less than a mobile phone, young families will be able to film a 360 video of their children’s birthdays, social functions, weddings, etc, and view them later with a VR headset. These VR videos will be so immersive when viewed through a VR headset, they will actually believe they are really back at their child’s birthday party.

In 20 or 30 years, when their children are married and have children of their own, grandparents will be able to view these immersive 360 VR videos, of birthdays, etc, which they filmed 20 or 30 years ago, and believe they are really back at that birthday party, surrounded by their children and friends.  Memories which are so irreplaceable, every family will absolutely want a VR camera and headset.

The Vietnamese Government is pushing for young people in Vietnam, to become technological leaders in the world. VR offers that opportunity.

Studio Virtasia is now driving a VR project, which will expose tens of thousands of young Vietnamese students, etc, to experience the immersive possibilities, VR technologies now present to them.

Studio Virtasia has also established a Facebook Group, called ‘VR VIETNAM’ which encourages young people and other studios, to start developing their own VR videos.

To further encourage young people to experience the immersivness of VR videos, Studio Virtasia will give away a number of VR headsets each week, to young people who join this Facebook group.

Studio Virtasia now seeks the support of Vietnamese corporations, to help drive this new technological opportunity and era for young Vietnamese, by way of donating VR headsets, which are to be given away to young Vietnamese each week. The more support we get, the more headsets we can give away.

Our aim is to give away 6,000 VR Headsets/year to Vietnamese Students. One Googlecarboard V2VR headset (as pictured) costs $2 (Including Postage).

As stated earlier VR technologies are no longer just for gamers with special headsets. The immersive abilities of VR, will see them being utilized in medicine, design, engineering, education, tourism, real-estate, retail, architecture, vehicles, entertainment, communications, corporate training, conferences, marketing, news, etc. The list is endless, and that is why it is so vitally important we get young Vietnamese students involved today, so Vietnam can become a global leader, for the design and implementation of these extremely important new technologies.

So please support the VR Project by becoming a sponsor of VR headsets for young people.
