VIRTASIAN TALES EPISODE 2
STORY WRITTEN for
VR - 360 - 4K
Virtasian Tales as the name suggests, is a 21st century fantasy, written with the clear intention of one day producing it as a commercially viable immersive 360 VR film, which would allow young viewers to actually travel to the fantastic virtual worlds of Virtasia, described within the pages of the book, with their VR headsets.
Virtasia can be best described as a Virtual Heaven, a dream world for both young and old. Virtual Reality now presents viewers the fantastic opportunity to actually travel to this Virtual heaven, which before VR, was only possible in your deepest dreams.
Virtasian Tales Episode 2, the second of 4 Virtasian Tales productions, is a fantastic 21st century fairy tale, starring a young 15 year old school girl named Bellasini, her Gran, best friend Gemma, and a vast array of other lovable characters, such as the Wizard of Wisdom, the Dress of Dreams, an animated book, and a mischievous purple bird named Zac, who are all trying to help Princess Bellasini, save the world of Reality from greedy Glitch, the illegitimate ruler of Virtasia, who has already taken over Reality’s computer systems and internet, with his partners in crime, Melissa and the Worm.
In Episode one, Bellasini found out she was really a princess born of both worlds, as Gran was once the Queen of Virtasia. Now Bellasini knows how she can travel between the two worlds, her Gran convinces her to return to Virtasia to fix Glitch; the illegitimate ruler of Virtasia, who is taking over Reality’s computer systems and trying to destroy her family, who are the legitimate heirs to the throne of Virtasia.
On her way to the palace in Virtasia, she meets a little man called, the Wizard of Wisdom, who turns out to be that little voice we all hear in our heads sometimes; our conscious, who lives in the fantastic Library of Life.
Eventually in Episode 2 she meets up with Glitch, and quickly realizes he is much more powerful then she first thought. Episode 2 concludes with Bellasini standing on a balcony with Glitch, overlooking the high tech world of Techtasia. The place where Reality’s computer systems meet Virtasia. Glitch’s windows between worlds.
Episode 2 will be one of the world’s first, feature length, 90 minute, 360 VR, 4K, 3D animated movies, targeted at both young and mature audiences. It will take 11-12 months to produce.
Unlike most 360 VR animated shorts produced today, Virtasian Tales will not be produced utilizing simple cartoon like 2D backgrounds and models. Rather, each scene will be constructed utilizing complex 3D models, textures and characters.
At present, most 360 VR 3D animated filmmakers, move across their storyboarding and filming techniques, they have mastered from traditional movie making, to the 360 VR production world. Studio Virtasia on the other hand will be utilizing its innovative, in-house developed, 5 camera storyboard production technique, which ensures action is occurring in each and every quadrant of the 360 VR scene being produced, thus giving our production house, a strong commercial advantage over other 360 VR film makers.
Our unique storyboard and production techniques ensures the VR viewer, is always at the centre of every fantastic scene, surrounded by characters and movement, so ensuring they experience the absolute marvels and excitement, of a true 360 VR film extravaganza.
